INTRODUCTION
sciencesimulations.com
is a collection of ten interactive simulations in Physics, Chemistry and
Biology, arranged in such a way that together they constitute a complete
classical lab for experimentation and learning.
Each simulation was programmed by professional British teachers and
programmers as part of the Educational Computing Section of Chelsea
College. After the college merged with King's College London, Michelsen
Consulting adapted, by permission, the programmes to Visual Basic.
The ten simulations have been used widely in British Senior Secondary Schools
and in first and second year curriculum in science departments of major universities.
Each simulation contains a Student Manual which outlines a number of
experiments, and a Teacher's Manual, with detailed explanations and recommendations for use.
